Band Saw Art Box, "AIRBORNE"
Spalted Maple with Walnut
Dimensions:  10” wide x 5” high x 4” deep
Value:  $175

This contemporary box design depicts the wingtips of a bird in graceful flight.  The
box is created using Spalted Maple with Walnut drawer handles.  The drawers are
lined with cobalt microsuede, reminiscent of Colorado's blue skies.  The fluid lines
of this design combined with a hand-rubbed oil & wax finish make this box silky
smooth and inviting to the human touch.

Handcrafted from a published wood artist's design, this style of art boxes has
inspired this Colorado Woodworker’s Guild donor to create her own original
designs which can be viewed at
www.woodgal.com.
